Dr. Klapowitz is “out-of-network” with all commercial insurances.
Seeing fewer patients than “in-network” doctors allows us to:
- Get to know you!
- Respond to your calls and medical issues quickly.
- See you same- or next-day for urgent matters.
- Spend as much time with you as you need.
Insurance company reimbursement and our fees:
- After you have met your “out-of-network” deductible, the insurance company may cover part or most of your costs.
- We collect payment at the time of visit and then submit the claim for you through a company named Reimbursify.
- Well examinations (“physicals”) range from approximately $550–$750, depending upon testing required, not including vaccinations.
- Follow-up visits for medical issues and emergency visits range from approx. $195–$400, depending upon testing required and complexity of visit, not including vaccinations.
- Remote visits (phone/telehealth) are $195.00.
- Vaccinations range from $75.00 (influenza) to $465 (rabies).
- Please note: We may charge a $75 fee for cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance of your appointment.
The laboratories we use, the tests we send you for, and the specialists we refer to are usually “in-network."
