Dr. Robert Abrams, born and raised in New York, has been practicing Internal Medicine with a specialty in Pulmonary Disease for more than 25 years. His passion lies in caring for the whole person; body, mind & spirit.
Dr. Abrams received a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Human Physiology from Cornell University and his Medical Degree from New York Medical College. After graduation, Dr. Abrams joined Lenox Hill Hospital where he completed his internship & residency program in Internal Medicine. After two years as an Attending Physician in Lenox Hill Hospital’s Emergency Room, Dr. Abrams completed a fellowship in Pulmonary & Critical Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital. Dr. Abrams is Board certified in Internal Medicine and has Attending Physician status at Lenox Hill Hospital and Mount Sinai Medical Center.
Dr. Abrams is a founding member and former Chairman of the Lenox Hill Healthcare Network.

Dr. Abrams resides in Westchester with his wife and 3 children. He enjoys drawing, reading, playing his guitar and writing music.
Dr. Julian Klapowitz has been an Internist on Manhattan’s Upper East Side for over 15 years. He is fervently devoted to his patients and to the ongoing study and practice of Internal Medicine and Travel Medicine.
Dr. Klapowitz grew up in Queens and Long Island. He studied Biology and English Literature at Emory University, in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Klapowitz attended Medical School at the State University of New York Health Science Center at Syracuse, where he received the Internal Medicine Achievement Award. He completed his Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at The Mount Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan.
Dr. Klapowitz is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. He currently has Attending Physician status at Mount Sinai Medical Center, Lenox Hill Hospital, and Beth Israel Medical Center. He maintains an active role in Resident-Physician education, is a member of the American College of Physicians, holds a Certificate In Travel Health(TM) from the International Society of Travel Medicine, and is a NYC Medical Reserve Corps.
